Cataclysmic Bio

 

 

      Artist, DJ, Producer, and musician DJ Cataclysmic was born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI. He is one-fourth of an Ann Arbor based hip-hop group Tree City, and is also working as a solo recording artist under the music label KeepitG records. 

     

        He began building skills as a DJ mixing and scratching during his junior year in Huron High School while attending a local teen center known as the neutral zone in Ann Arbor. There was an after school program that would enable teens to learn how to become DJ's. This course was curated under the guidance of multi-instrumentalist, and producer Nick Ayers (DJ Silky Slim) and has been a staple in the Ann Arbor music community ever since.  

 

        He has had the privilege of performing alongside fellow artists Jay Electronica, Big Sean, Janel Monae, Big K.R.I.T, Dan Deacon, OnemanArmy, Invincible, Finale, Del the funky Homosapian, Mayer Hawthorne, Brother Ali, Magestik Legend, and Killah Priest and countless others. Since the beginning of DJ Cataclysmic's career, while working with Tree City he has released three full length LP's (The TreE.P., Black Trees,Thus Far) a Solo LP (Forever Under Construction) and numerous singles along with DJ mixes that can all be found on all digital platforms.
